About CE MusicThe music program at Castleberry Elementary strives to create tuneful, beatful and artful musicians. Students come to music once a week for 45 minutes. We learn how to sing correctly, play various percussion instruments, read music, and move expressively and dance with music, in addition to learning about famous musicians and music careers. The goal is to help students understand and connect to the world and music around them by providing them with a thorough music education in elementary that will also equip them for music at higher levels, should they choose to pursue it.

About Mrs. Hunt |
I feel extremely blessed to share music with the incredible students at Castleberry Elementary. I grew up in Bedford, TX and was highly involved in the band and choir through junior high and high school. I graduated from Florida College in 2012 with my Bachelor's in Liberal Arts Music and then received my Bachelor's in Music Education from Western Kentucky University in the fall of 2013. I married Stephen in March 2014 and we then moved back to the great state of Texas. I enjoy singing, dancing, playing with my dogs, Wolfgang (after the famous music composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart) and Bear (nicknamed for famous French composer Berlioz), spending time with my family and playing board games. I'm looking forward to another wonderful year as a Castleberry lion!
